MAX

MAX is a Tandem NSK host resident file transfer product that supports PC, Macintosh, or virtually any desktop computer. Using both X-Modem and MacBinary protocol transfers, MAX supports interactive and application-invoked file transfer. MAX can reformat Tandem data records and data fields in conjunction with the transfer, facilitating direct file transfer into foreign applications such as spreadsheets and local databases. MAX maintains a foreign file directory, allowing users to find these files on their Tandem systems by Tandem name or by the file's native (desktop) name.

MAX offers a value-added, fully integrated interface for MAC MENLO and CTACCESS users, providing unattended multifile transfer and store and forward capabilities, and graphical user interface for file selection and processing.
